Valentines day party

On the 14 of February my family went to a Valentine's day party at our friends apartment near Lago Patria. Their neighborhood is a little iffy but the view of the beach from the balcony is beautiful. It started with a greeting and we were still waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive, then we finally gathered in the dining room and Alyssa (the host who lived here) proposed that we go out on the beach because of the nice weather. We shoved all five people into a small elevator and headed to the beach. The beach was fenced off so we just found a way around it climbing on rocks and avoiding sharp wire sticking out from the fence. The beach unlike most here in Italy was a lot cleaner and lots of sea-shells and muscle shells were all gathered up in a long strip across the shore. Most of us took our shoes off (Race was too cool for that) and set them on a ledge. After drawing lots of pictures in the sand and picking up seashells and things, the other two guests arrived and we waved them to come down to the beach with us. They joined us and meanwhile I was finishing a heart I made in the sand with seashells. After only a little while, we climbed back up the rocks and after getting the sand out from in between our toes we put our shoes on and walked back up to the apartment. We gathered in the dining room once again to play a guessing game (you've probably heard of it). There were 6 jars of different kinds of candy and you were supposed to guess how many pieces were in them. Mainly only two people one most of the jars, but the rule was that no one could have more than one jar so every one shared and gave out all of them except for the one they wanted most. I got the jar with gummy bears in it (that made me happy :D). Then we sat down at the table and were given 2 cookies shaped like mustaches and were told to choose one other buddy to decorate the cookie for, then we had to "wear" the cookie our buddy gave us and have a picture taken. For my buddy (his name was Chris) I decorated the cookie with green frosting and even put on some of my green apple gummy bears (since I knew he loved green apples). He made me a cookie with two circles on it of different colors and I put it up to my face and got my picture taken, then I ate it, it was delicious ;). After that we all hung out in the living room and gave out the valentine cards we brought (I forgot to bring any). My favorite one that I got had a picture of Hitler on it that said "Be mein". I felt bad that I didn't bring any valentines with me so I asked for some pieces of paper so I could make my own. I only had time enough to make 4 but that's because they each had a very detailed picture on them. One had a picture of a human heart on the front, and inside it said "I got these valentines from my doctor", and another (one of my favorites) had a picture of a stick figure holding up a sword to a dragon, on the inside it said "you could dominate a dragon with your pure AWESOMENESS". After I gave those to some people, It was time to go, so I gathered my items and left with my Mom and Brother.
